PRIVACY

Private by default.

small.earth performs its core time, timezone, date, unit, cooking, data, color, encoding, calculation, world-profile and whole-text localization work directly in your browser. No AI API is required for those operations.

Your pinned cities, pinned answers, theme, recent command history, favorite commands and V9 “Your world” preferences are stored locally in your browser. Active Restaurant, Smart Kitchen, Shopping Budget/checklist and Friends/Night Out sessions are also stored locally so a reload does not erase them. They are not uploaded by small.earth.

V9 adaptive links encode the original text in the URL so each recipient can localize the same facts using their own browser preferences. Anyone who receives such a link can read the encoded content, so do not use adaptive links for secrets or sensitive information.

If text contains a supported foreign currency and your preferred currency is different, or when you use Restaurant/Airport currency conversion, V9 may request a current reference exchange rate from the public Frankfurter API at api.frankfurter.dev. Only the currency pair is requested; the paragraph itself is not sent to that service. If the rate service is unavailable, the currency is left unchanged.

Smart Kitchen can optionally request browser notification permission and, where supported, a screen wake lock. These permissions stay under browser/device control; small.earth cannot guarantee that a mobile operating system will keep a background webpage alive for timer alerts.

This build contains no advertising trackers or third-party cookies. If analytics, advertising, accounts or additional network services are added later, this page and any required consent setup should be updated.
